Ingredients:

2 ripe avocados

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup honey or maple syrup

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup whole wheat flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup dark chocolate chips


Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a square baking pan or line it with parchment paper.

Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl. Mash the avocados until smooth.

Add the cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup, eggs, and vanilla extract to the mashed avocados. Mix well until the ingredients are fully combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, baking powder, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the avocado mixture, stirring until just combined.

Fold in the dark chocolate chips.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.

Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out with a few crumbs.

Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting them into squares.
